Affordability Is the Fight

Groceries, insurance, housing — the cost of just getting by in Louisiana's 3rd District keeps climbing, and paychecks aren't keeping up. That's not a talking point. It's what I hear at every kitchen table, every church parking lot, every parish I visit.

Affordability is my top priority because it touches every family in this district, no matter their politics. Here's where I stand: fight to lower the cost of groceries, insurance, and housing; support wages that actually keep pace with today's economy; make the first $50,000 of every teacher's salary exempt from federal income tax; and deliver student-loan forgiveness for healthcare workers who serve Louisiana families.

This isn't about left or right. It's about whether hardworking people who are doing everything right can get ahead instead of just surviving. That's the CommUNITY I'm fighting to build.
